Annapurna Conservation Area (ACAP) and people has protected an area in north of Pokhara, known as Annapurna sanctuary lies just beneath the southern slopes of the Annapurna Massif and has panoramic views of Dhaulagiri, the Annapurna range, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. It takes Nepal’s most lovely rhododendron forests to the Ghorepani, Poonhill & eventually to the Annapurna Base Camp through typical Gurung village at Landruk, Ghandruk and Chhomrung, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Base Camp, spectacular mountains view from Poonhill, natural hot spring at Jhunudanda, Gurung & Magar culture.

Crossing the world’s highest Thorung La (5416m) trekking Pass, reaching to the world’s highest Tilicho (4949m) lake and trekking through the world’s deepest Rupse Chhahara gorge (6617M lower from two Himalayan giants; Dhaulagiri and Annapurna) are highlights of the trip.

Druk Path Trek is fairly short, easy trekking and hiking holidays. Trail passes through natural green landscape of blue pine forests, high ridges and pristine lakes. Offers stunning views of highest virgin peak, Mt. Gangkar Puensum, opportunity to visit ancient Lhakhangs, Dzongs and villages. March -June and September -November are best times.
