The trekking region is relatively warmer than other trekking region in Nepal and Singla Pass is not technically difficult but offers Ganesh, Langtang and Manaslu Himalayan ranges, authentic experience of unspoiled Brahim, Chhetri, Tamang and Gurung villages and beautiful farm terraces. Ganesh Himal Trek starts after a few hours of drive along the Kathmandu to Dhunche highway. Along the trail, superb close views of Ganesh himal, Langtang, Bouddha Himal, Hiunchuli and other peaks of central Himalaya. While camping, we provide fully water proof two men tents, dining tents, kitchen gears, dining table, chairs, toilet tents, Kathmandu shower tent and many other gears as per the service chosen.

DAY 01: DRIVE TO PARVATI KUNDA (2250M) 9-10 HRS
Journey into the Himalaya begins with Kathmandu -Syabrubesi scenic drive, the gateway of Langtang National Park. View at the top of Kathmandu valley extends west as far as Annapurnas and Manaslu and the road drop down into Trisuli valley. We pass through terraced hillsides to Trisuli Bazaar, where an exciting, narrow road traverses several ridges to reach the small town of Syabrubesi at Rasuwa. A busy town at the bank of Trishuli River close to Nepal -Tibet border which has mix people of Tamang, Tibetan, Brahmin and Chhetri. After lunch, we further drive to Parvati Kunda (a pristine alpine fresh lake) via Gatlang village. Parvati Kunda derives the name of famous Hindu Goddess Parvati (Gauri) who is consort of Lord Shiva. Here colorfully dressed up villagers from the local Tamang ethnic group gather around to greet us. Enjoy an evening with campfire, local dancing and singing. Overnight at the trekking lodge.

DAY 02: Trek to Somdang Village (3258M) 7-8 HRS
Wake up early in the morning to a breathtaking sunrise, with the view of Ganesh Himal range from your own room. Breakfast at lodge, packing bags and start ascending through quiet trails with thick pine and Rhododendron forests to Yuri Kharka, probably our lunch spot. Further ascent through magical pine forests past creeks and trees covered with moss. The trail is a paradise for flora lovers and researchers who are interested to learn more about Alpine forests, as there are more than 100 species of wild flora on the trail. The view is of endless rolling valleys covered with pine forests, as we slowly enter Khurpu Bhanjyang and then dropping down to Somdang Valley, which is a beautiful gorge with sprawling green meadows, featuring the beautiful 200 m Chukarma waterfall. Overnight at the local house besides an old abandoned mine at the Somdang Village.

DAY 03: REST, ACCLIMATIZATION, EXPLORATION
Wake up late, have breakfast and explore the village. Practice of trekking for 2-3 days from northern Rasuwa to northern Dhading to reach Tipling via Syaphrubeshi of Rasuwa will soon end due to Somdang -Tipling road construction will soon end after the Northern belt of Dhading finishes. Overnight at the local house.

DAY 04: Trek to Pangsang Pass (3830M) 5-6 HRS
Most challenging day of the entire trek with requirement of endurance and strength as we are reaching to the Pangsang Pass at an altitude of 3830m above sea level. We take a steep trek up to the highest pass along the border of Rasuwa and Dhading districts with scenic trails. Enjoy the view of the majestic Manaslu to the north, and the entire Ganesh Himal range. Pangsang Kharka (open yak pastureland) is large meadow with breathtaking scenery and sensational location for camping and breathtaking scenery where the top is like a terrace with a stunning viewpoint of the broad panorama of the surrounding terrain. Insight info: Local Committee of Ruby Valley Village is initiating to build a basic lodge accommodation at the Pangsang Kharka Pass. We will update once completed!!! First camping experience at yak hut during the trek.

DAY 05: Trek to Tipling Village  (1890M) 5-6 HRS
The highlight of the trip is when we enter Tipling village, an old quaint village, inhabited mostly by the Tamang ethnicity. We trek through deep rhododendron and pine forest as flora and wild animals including monkey, Himalayan tahr, Gaur, Musk Deer and many others as fauna. The village is the furthest one can experience away from city life, as the terrain is dominated with a culture rich in Shamanism and Tantrism. The religious influence is of both Hinduism and Buddhism, interwoven with the worship of natural forces. The feature of this village are the two Tibetan Gompas covered with colorful flags, where often local village children with wind dried red cheeks and dirty clothes, perch, to welcome tourists with Rhododendrons in their tiny hands. DAY 06: Trek to Jharlang (1800M) 6-7 HRS
Wake up early in the morning, eat breakfast, pack bags and move to the next village called Shertung which is mix of tradition, culture, color and vibrance. Shertung (1875m) is a “place of gold” village largely inhabited by Tamangs. According to legend, two brothers in search of gold were led here by a dream and thus the settlement was born. From here, the trail descends and arrive to the village of Borlang After having lunch at the village,

The next day’s trail descends to Borlang and then to Ukhum for lunch. The trail then takes a turn, as we pass through the Lishne Jungle, crossing several suspension bridges, till we eventually arrive to Jharlang Village, another fine viewpoint for a panoramic view of the peaks. This charming village’s main attractions are its huts laid with black slate stones, it is a small village with a colorful vibrance.  Walk through fields of barley and maize, to the scenic view of Ganesh Himal I and II.

The people here are warm and welcome visitors to their homes and offer warm meals. One of the highlight of this village, is the Shaman or Jhakri dance , performed as a healing ritual. The Ghode or Horse dance is also performed which is said to have been derived from Tibetan culture. The hospitable people of this area have unique customs and craftsmanship and traditional dances, including a hospitable welcome dance, Ghatu dance, Dohori is also popular with call and response between male and female participants, a type of courtship ritual, complemented by folk music. Some dances depend on the time of year and take place during festivals including the Maruni dance during Dashain and Tihar.

DAY 07: TREK TO KINTANG PHEDI (1200M): 6-7 HRS
The journey takes us to the Kingtang Phedi all the downhill walk through small village. In the evening, we can walk down to Khahare for leisure walk. Overnight at Tented Camp.

DAY 08: TREK TO JYAMRUNG (1700M): 6-7 HRS
Leaving Kingtang Phedi and Khahare, the trail ascends all the way to Jyamrung by passing picturesque village of Simle. Jyamrung and Simle are two villages, separated by the Damai Chautara Hill. The beautiful hill offers Netravati river, wide and huge valley created by the river and Ganesh Himal range. Overnight in Tented Camp or stay at locals house.

DAY 09:  Drive TO KATHMANDU, 160KM
The roads to Dhadingbesi, administrative headquarter of the Dhading district, moves through unpaved road for approximately two hours via Jyamrung Durbar. “Jymrung Durbar” is a old fort made under the period of unification of Nepal and only ruins remaining now. Soon after we meet paved road at Dhading Besi, drive another an hour to reach the Malekhu Bridge at meet Kathmandu –Pokhara highway. Scenic drive of beautiful views of rivers, hills, terraces, forests and villages brings us to Kathmandu. Trip ends!
