Annapurna Alternative Trek Price Includes

In order to improve the quality of life in remote mountain villages, the Government of Nepal working on connecting each beautiful mountain villages by road. The great challenge is the increasing numbers of buses and jeeps passes through poorly made road with dust and disturb trekkers. Road construction loose the earth causing landslide, rock-fall as well as mudslide. It also shortening the length of the trek and its challenging everyone. We have taken it as an opportunity to develop alternative, off-the-crowd trekking route and Annapurna Alternative Trek was developed as an Annapurna Three Viewpoint Trek having each of viewpoints their own uniqueness.
Moharehill Viewpoint has jaw-dropping panoramic views that extends from Gurja Himal right up to Himalchuli with Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South and many others 6000m peaks in between, and looks down on Pokhara Valley including the Phewa Lake.
Poonhill Viewpoint is the climax of trek in Khopra Ridge –Ghorepani section with climbing Poonhill at dawn to enjoy most spectacular mountain views. As the sun touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Annapurna (8,091m) along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes. Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurna with the picturesque fluted peak of Machhapuchhare (Fish Tail Peak) dominating the skyline.
Khopra Ridge and Muldehill Viewpoint commands a majestic sweep of the central Himalaya from its 3,650m. Please take your breakfast and be ready in lobby of your hotel at 6:00 hrs. Our Trekking guide will come to the hotel to pick you up. After a short walk you will rich to Pokhara bus station from where you drive to Pokhara. At Pokhara we can enjoy an afternoon’s sightseeing on the lakeside & boating at Phewa lake with your trek guide (Optional).

TREK TO NANGI VILLAGE (2270M) 7-8 HRS
Nangi Village is the village of Magsaysay (Asian Nobel Prize) award winner Mr. Mahabir Pun who is well recognized by Ashoka Foundation, the Ramon Magsaysay Foundation, University of Nebraska and Global Ideas Bank. He is innovator, social entrepreneur, activist and teacher who extended wireless technologies to develop remote areas of the Himalayas. His father, retired Gorkha, is running a nursery farm at the village. Nangi modal village is located in western Nepal on the Southern flank of the Annapurna (8091m -10th highest peak in the world) and Dhaulagiri (8167m -07th highest peak in the world) ranges of the Himalayas. Overnight at the Nangi Community Lodge.
TREK TO MOHARE DANDA (3200M) 5-6 HRS
SUNRISE FROM MOHARE DANDA VIEW POINT (3300M), TREK TO GHOREPANI (2860M) 6-7 HRS
After an early start at around 05:30 to ascend to Mohare Danda (3300m). 45 minutes to one hour steep climb leads us to a brilliant viewpoint, providing an unobstructed sunrise over the high Himalayas. After spending half an hour on the hillside, we come back to the lodge, have a hot breakfast, and start walking to Ghorepani. Overnight stay at Guest House.

SUNRISE FROM KHOPRA RIDGE, (3673M), TREK TO DOBATO (3420M) 5-6 HRS
Wake up early in the morning to have sunrise view. Return back to the lodge to have a hot breakfast. Begin the trek with descending vial small trail until small pond which we passed during the Chistibung –Khopra Ridge walk. The narrow trail passes just bottom of the Annapurna South (7219m) with grassy land and bamboo and rhododendron forest. We stop at the hamlet called Bayeli Village for the lunch. Dobato is just an hour and half away from here. It’s a small village with handful of guesthouses accommodating trekkers passing to Khopra and back to Ghorepani. Overnight at lodge. Optional: Day hike to the holy Khayer Lake and Annapurna South Glacier.
SUNRISE FROM MULDE VIEW POINT (3637M), TREK TO KIMRONG DANDA (2200M) 7-8 HRS
Wake up early in the morning for 45 minutes hike up to the ridge called Mulde View Point which offers superb views of high Himalayan ranges; Annapurna, Dhaulagiri as well as Machhapuchhre to Wake up early in the morning to have sunrise view. Return back to the lodge to have a hot breakfast. After breakfast, we descend down to Kimrong Danda via Tadapani with lots of ups and down. Tadapani probably be our nice lunch spot with a view over Himalayan range and deep Kimrong valley. The trail to Annapurna Base Camp branches off here. Overnight stay at the Little Paradise Guest House.
